Capt. Chris Blache was appointed to the State of Louisiana Board of River Pilot Review and Oversight in 2017.  Capt. Blache also serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and Examiners for the Bar Pilots. 

Capt. Blache graduated from Rice University in 1997 and attended graduate school before sailing on a foreign flag deep sea vessel.  He joined the Bar Pilots in 2001. 

Capt. Blache and his wife Dr. Jessica Lin Blache live in St. Tammany Parish with their two sons.
